WHAT TO BRING/WEAR

     
  Beverages  
  DO NOT BRING BEVERAGES ABOARD. We furnish bottled water.
     
  Suntan Lotion  
  APPLY 1 HR PRIOR TO BOARDING - NOT AT THE DOCK!  
    Bull Frog Sunblock  
    The QuickGel  
    SPF 36  
    All Day  
    Amphibious Formula  
  Sailing Attire  
  - Bring a spare change of clothes (sometimes you may get wet).
- Bring a ZIPPERED Sailing Bag containing your gear.
  - Bring RAIN GEAR. JACKET & PANTS are better than Ponchos.
    - Even when not raining, since boat seats may still be wet.
    - Often useful as wind breaker as well.
  - Bring Sailing Gloves, Tethered Hat & Sunglasses
  - Shoes:
    - CLEAN closed toe tennis shoes or boat shoes
    - NO sandals, flip flops, high platform or open toe shoes.
    - NO dirty, scuff marking or dark sole shoes.
  - Pants, shorts, shirts, jackets, jogging suits:
    - NO wrist bracelets, large earrings or loose rings.
    - NO rivets or scratching metals on front or rear of garments.
    - NO DRESSES, long or draping sashes which may blow in the wind and cause trip or visibility hazards.
  Seasonal Attire  
  Summer  
    - Shorts, T-Shirt or button up shirt.
   
  Winter (Use Multiple Layers)  Also useful during transition between seasons.
    - Thermal underwear.
    - Double or thick socks.
    - Hooded sweat shirt
  (Best way to keep ears warm & still hear instructor)
    - Warm jacket
    - Thick winter sailing gloves
